Butternut and cinnamon are like inseparable friends, together, they create a delicious aroma perfect for cakes, pies, or even infusions. Butternut brings a soft, versatile flavor, while cinnamon adds a warm and spicy note. A butternut and cinnamon cake can be the perfect dessert for any occasion.
Peel and chop the butternut, then boil it in water for 10–12 minutes.
Drain and blend the butternut together with the eggs and butter.
Add milk, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla, then blend again.
If the batter is too runny, add a bit more flour.
Pour a ladle of batter into a hot pan to form the pancakes.
When bubbles start to form on the surface, flip to cook the other side.
Serve and garnish with a few cinnamon sticks.
